Hands down the most attentive and honest shop I’ve been to. The Shop Automotive was recommended to me by a friend, and I’m so thankful! Got my car all checked out and fixed before a long road trip (car had a number of issues) - the team here made me feel safe and comfortable with the care they took with my car. Pricing was on par with average repairs but the quality of the team is far above average!

The Shop Automotive has excellent customer service and very skilled mechanics. I appreciate that they always take the time to give me a thorough description of what is going on with my car (without ever being patronizing, which unfortunately has been my experience as a female customer at many other auto shops). They always distinguish essential repairs from less urgent issues, which I appreciate as it allows me to make informed decisions about how much I need to spend. They are always friendly and prompt. I've been a customer for 3 years and I will never go anywhere else in Boulder!

Every time I go everyone is so friendly. They are extremely helpful and telling me what needs to be fix and how to prevent it in the future and helping me maintaining the health of my car.

I came here for the 1st time in February 2020. I was torn between how bad the car was and how much it would cost to replace it. Should I call it quits or take the plunge on the Spring Car sales. Once at the garage, it was given a thorough review and all of the problems were laid out in detail so I could plan my approach on what to do and when to do it. Luckily the disgusting oil once changed didn't appear to have wrecked the engine so it was worth replacing the tires (a different company they don't do tires here) as they were no longer safe. I immediately booked another appointment for May to see if the engine was keeping its end of the bargain up. Once the oil had been checked and changed again (no burning oil) the car was signed off of life support. I shall be keeping regular appointments here in the future to get as much use as I can from this 11 year old asset. Owning an old car is nerve wracking but the smart people at The Shop Automotive help you make smart decisions on where to spend your dollars. At some point I will have to replace the car but I am comfortable stalling that purchase as long as I keep up the appointments.

These guys are great, honest, local, and are very experienced working with Sprinter vans. Patton did a very thorough pre-purchase inspection that gave me the peace of mind needed when buying a car.
