Across the automotive industry it is common practice to provide a 1 year, 12,000 mile warranty on repairs, and the “deny all claims” philosophy is alive and well. FOR A FEE, some repair shops also offer an upgraded 3YR/36K through an outside provider. At The Shop Automotive we stand behind our repairs with a standard, in-house warranty of 3 years and 36,000 miles that our competition simply can’t match. Drive a Toyota or a Sprinter? That warranty is instantly upgraded to 5 years, 50,000 miles. The repairs we perform have been curated and standardized from years of experience. We know what works and what doesn’t, and we apply that knowledge in a way that ensures a long-lasting and complete repair, the first time.

You asked, and we listened! After your vehicle is checked in, you will deal directly with the technician who is handling your repairs. This direct line of communication streamlines all of our internal processes and ensures that important information is always communicated. Since our first day of doing business, we have enjoyed building relationships and getting to know our customers directly, and we approach every repair with the intention of fostering lifelong friendships between our customers and every member of our staff.
End to End Service
Specialization in one manufacturer or repair is a temptation for many shops, and usually it results in complacency and stagnation for mechanics. Through cross-specialization in different manufacturers and systems, our mechanics are more flexible and adaptive, and they can stay ahead of the curve of technology. All of our staff is trained at a Master Level in multiple manufactures and disciplines. This allows us to offer service for every manufacturer and all of a vehicle’s systems. This means that we can handle not only your brake service and oil change, but also advise for, diagnose, and repair larger and more complicated components that are critical to the longevity of your vehicle. Need a tail light bulb on your Toyota? Check. Need an engine rebuild on your Audi? Check. We look forward to being the only shop that you will ever need.
Maintenance/Repair Consultations
Perhaps the most misused, poorly applied, and under-utilized term in automotive repair is the “inspection.” It has been morphed into a checklist by some, used as an excuse to “sell work” by others, and completely ignored by the rest! At The Shop we understand it for what it really is: a tool we use to provide information to you that can improve the experience of owning and maintaining your vehicle. At your first visit we will spend about an hour inspecting your vehicle for pending maintenance and repairs and lay it all out on the table for you. From there, we can help you make educated decisions about the maintenance and repair of your vehicle for the LONG TERM. After organizing items based on cost and priority, we will proceed to put together a plan to not only perform repairs, but also plan to re-check points of interest in the future. At your next visit we will use this information to build on the original inspection and perform more detailed checks. This is a service to the community that we perform at NO CHARGE. We believe that this information should be available to everyone, regardless of income, and we are happy to provide this service.

We’ve all been there. You’re ready to make a major financial commitment and you’re looking for a good deal on something used. At the same time it seems as though everyone you speak with is trying to take advantage of you. At The Shop we understand that one of the most critical points throughout the ownership of a vehicle is the acquisition process, and we would love nothing more than to be your guide. We offer a wealth of knowledge about all of the different makes, and we offer pre-purchase inspections and used car consulting services that can help you make a more informed decision when purchasing a used car. This information can mean the difference between getting a great deal or paying a premium price for a vehicle that is essentially worthless. Once again, we provide this service at NO CHARGE for the benefit of the community.
