Edit: John called me to straighten everything out. Bummed I had to take it somewhere else to get an alignment, but the rest of the work they do is good for a fair price, and reaching out to clear things up was big. Would go back in the future. The Shop didn't honor an estimate they gave me, calling it a clerical error. They added some suspension components to my car and replaced bushings in the steering, and didn't include the necessary alignment. The original estimate for the work included the alignment, but when I called back they said it wasn't performed and I had to go to a different shop to get it done. Did nothing to help me out other than blaming the clerical error. After spending nearly $2k in a couple months with them I would have expected better service.

The mechanics were very helpful and professional, they completed a diagnostics check on our vehicle and offered several recommendations even if it didn’t benefit their shop. Their customer service was great and it was nice talking with a professional not just looking to put money in their pockets. The diagnostic fees were very reasonable and I would recommend this shop to others.

When I brought my Chevy Astro to Jason I made the mistake of buying parts that did not fit. Even though the repair took much longer than expected he did not charge extra. John did a full inspection on my van and gave me a list of the repairs necessary with a breakdown in order of priority. The guys were very honest with me and recommended I look into getting another vehicle since it was not likely I could make my van reliable on a reasonable budget. The Shop is the first place I have taken my car without feeling like I’m being taken advantage of. 5 Stars!

These guys are great! I was about to drive my car across the country and my A/C went out. I was working with a tight schedule and within one day they had it back up and running. They deserve way more than five stars.

I first came to their shop when my 16 y/o Jaguar XJ8 dumped all it's radiator fluid on the ground. I am new to town, having moved in March 2018. The tow truck driver suggested I take it to The Shop Automotive. Jason was able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem. There aren't many shops that can even understand my car, let alone fix it. I'm lucky to find such an honest, transparent and reliable mechanic shop. I'm never taking my car anywhere else. I know he will take care of my car, so that I can keep enjoying my Jaguar for many years to come. I'm about to buy another car, and he will be doing my final inspection before I buy it. You can trust them with your favorite ride, they really care! And they do the best job ever!!

These guys are awesome! I've needed The Shop a couple of times now. They're excellent mechanics, very detail-oriented, and honest as well. They seemed genuinely more interested in helping me to evaluate my options than trying to sell me anything. If you're looking for good, honest, affordable mechanics in Boulder, you can't do better than The Shop!

The Shop Automotive LLC is my go-to mechanical shop. They have taken excellent care of me and my Dodge Pickup. I have complete confidence in them. They are smart, competent, honest, and pleasant to deal with. The shop is clean, well-equipped, and professional in every regard. They never try to upsell you and if they say you need work, you need it. If you don't need it, they tell you so. You really can tell they are on the side of the customer.

I have received nothing but the best service from The Shop Automotive. The entire team there (especially John!) is incredibly accommodating, friendly, honest, and very easy to work with. I live in Steamboat Springs, but would choose to take my car to Boulder to be worked on, just because these guys are so amazing. Best experience I've ever had with a shop. Thanks guys!!!

The guys at The Shop rock! They've helped me a ton with my Sprinter van, even when I was having issues on a road trip and had to call them up / email them. Customer service is top-notch, vehicle repairs were spot-on; I'm very happy to have discovered The Shop knows how to work on Sprinters, they're definitely my go-to shop now!!!
