Jason and his staff are honest, prompt and thorough whenever i need service for my 2010 Forester. Prices are reasonable and i never worry that work will be done that isn't needed. The staff always tries to work within time constraints which is not usually done elsewhere. In several recent cases, the staff basically worked in/on an issue i had despite having a full line up of service, allowing me to use my car when i needed it most. You don't find this kind of service very often. I highly recommend his shop!

I'm a rather jaded guy in general but I can't speak highly enough about this garage. Highly knowledgeable, got us in last min on a Saturday, greater detailed and patience than I've seen yet in a shop, steller custumer service, they are clearly going the extra mile as a small business across the board. I highly recommend giving them. (Directions) After you turn off the main road go right and then straight they are in the middle of the group of warehouses behind the parked cars and across from the outdoor equipment shop

I can't speak highly enough of The Shop and Jason! I had never been to a mechanic before and was worried of being taken advantage of. Jason took a real interest in my car problems, addressed all of my concerns, and explained the problems to me in a way that I could fully understand. He even did a general maintenance check and gave me a list that prioritized the issues so I could focus on the bigger problems without breaking the bank. I will definitely be coming back!! These guys are the best in town and probably the best mechanic I've ever come across. We have an '05 Land Rover LR3 that has had intermittent suspension and electrical fault issues for the past 6 months. We brought it to another shop in town (Arapahoe Import Service — don't go there) and they charged us $1200 for the issue to come back two weeks later. John did a complete inspection and a full suspension conversion from air to spring and it's back to new. He's be awesome to work with, explains everything so you understand what's going on and best of all, he's honest. Hopefully won't have to see them soon, but John and The Shop are my go-to shop I can count on. Recommend 100%

These guys are great! Everyone there is super friendly and knowledgeable, and after my experience The Shop is the only place I’d recommend. My ancient Ford Focus had been without heat in the cabin for about 6 mostly-freezing months, and instead would blow cool-to-lukewarm air. Google said it probably needed a new thermostat. I wasted my time taking my car to two other places in town, one of which told me the thermostat was fine and the other said that they couldn’t find any issues. Took my car to The Shop a few weeks ago and Jason was able to quickly diagnose the problem. Guess what? Needed a new thermostat. Now the heat works perfectly, problem solved. Wish I had just taken my car here in the first place! Jason also recommended that two of the engine mounts be replaced, but it turned out that only one needed replacing. I really appreciated the honesty, since there's no way I would have known the difference, and they could have easily made a few more bucks by replacing both. And now my car doesn’t vibrate like it’s about to explode, yay! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Albeit Jason is a personal friend, he is one of the most honest hard working people I’ve met. He saved me hundreds of dollars in work that the dealer suggested I do. I highly recommend The Shop for anything servvice or repair related. Friendly and honest, and not to mention quality work.

These guys are great! John quoted me a price that was well within what I was planning on spending, and the work done was great! They communicated to me throughout the process and were able to answer every question i had. A great shop! Well worth the drive to North Boulder!!

Really impressed with this shop and will be bringing my vehicles here going forward after a recent experience. I took my wife's newer Subaru to wALMART in Lafayette last Saturday for an oil change (yeah, yeah, why did I bring it there?!) and they drained the transmission fluid! Of course, they didn't know what to do other than telling me I might be able to drive it to a mechanic. Long story short, the only shop open on a Saturday night that I could find was this place, so I had it towed there and promptly taken care of. The co-owner, Jason, was there and was not only easy to talk to but also a super nice person. WOW!! AND, OPEN ON THE WEEKENDS!!

Love these guys! My fiance and I were passing through Boulder and needed a quality mechanic we could trust. We called around and went with these guys because they came in under the estimates of the other shops and seemed genuinely cool. We got our timing belt replaced on our 2005 Toyota Sienna and various other jobs done at the same time. These guys were fair, efficient, honest and did really good work to get us back out there on the road. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!!!

Best experience with a mechanic ever! I know close to nothing about cars but these guys are solid! And they are quick, too. I got detailed feedback within hours of driving my car over. John didn't try to sell me anything. He suggested priority areas and gave me an estimate for the fixes that will have to be made eventually. He took my concerns seriously, even though they turned out not be issues. More than anything though, I appreciated that I wasn't treated like a dummy. I often get that treatment as a woman but John took his time to check my car thoroughly. I can highly recommend the shop!
